Children can be a blessing, but sometimes it can be terrorizing to take your toddler on the road. Good planning can blunt some of the worst problems. It’s important to remember even the most well behaved child can move at a kid’s pace, not yours; so build time into travel and routines to accommodate their schedule. Some hotels and airlines offer family benefits that can help while away from home, such as lower prices or altered check in to keep kids from getting bored. And don’t forget, children can be picky eaters so check with restaurants for kid menus.
